Care of Maple Syrup
Unopened containers of maple syrup have a shelf -life of many months, especially if stored in a cool room where the temperature remains fairly constant. Once the original packaging and seal have been opened, store the maple syrup in a refrigerator or freezer.
The natural sugars in the maple syrup may begin to form crystals inside the container if it is not stored in a refrigerator. This is normal and does not affect the quality.
